Traveling with diabetes is hard, and for a long time, I let myself believe it was impossible. However, after eight years of living with this condition I’ve learned that the only thing that will ever hold me back is myself.

It’s no secret that living with diabetes can distort our relationship with food. Whether it’s looking at the amount of carbs constantly, the blood sugar trend or just associating your food with a number – it can be pretty damaging.
