New year, new plan for walking into your next endocrinologist’s appointment. As people living with diabetes, we have access to constant data and information for our blood sugars – but when was the last time you knew what to do with it?
Pre-bolusing can be an incredible tool, but is it the end-all-be-all? Let’s be real, life happens. We eat dinner at a restaurant and we can’t gauge when our food will be delivered. The holidays come up and dinner is at the table before you know it. You’re cooking and next thing you know it your meal is sitting right in front of you. As amazing of a tool pre-bolusing can be, it’s not always practical.
