In a natural cycle, during the 10-14 days before your period starts and after ovulation, there are significant shift in hormones. Progesterone hormones becomes most dominant in the menstrual cycle. The hormones role is to thicken uterine lining to prepare your body for pregnancy.

Pre-bolusing can be an incredible tool, but is it the end-all-be-all? Let’s be real, life happens. We eat dinner at a restaurant and we can’t gauge when our food will be delivered. The holidays come up and dinner is at the table before you know it. You’re cooking and next thing you know it your meal is sitting right in front of you. As amazing of a tool pre-bolusing can be, it’s not always practical.
