Building muscle with type 1 diabetes, what is there to know? We all know there are a lot of factors to consider with exercise and blood sugar management, but what about when it comes to actually seeing results?
Meet Anthony Baklouk. Anthony is a fitness trainer with his bachelors in Health Science. He’s been training clients in person and online for the past 8 years inside his private training and meal prepping company, Baklouk Training. He helps his clients get Bak on Track so they can achieve their goals and sustain them long term through weight training and addressing daily habits. Although Anthony does not live with T1D himself, he has been my and my fiance’s trainer for the last 2.5 years and he’s taught us everything we know about gaining muscle, which is why I wanted to bring him onto the show.
Inside this episode, Anthony and I sit down to discuss the foundations of building muscle, where most people get it wrong and how to get started in your own journey.
